Boyz Town - gay area in horny Pattaya

The first gay bar appeared here far in 1980 at Soi Pattayaland 3 (now that alley is part of Pattaya Soi 13/4). In some months that first "sun ray" became so popular that other gay bars like mushrooms after a rain had started to open. In 1982 was decided to give an official name to that place which it still has.

Initially and now Boyz Town should call only Soi Pattayaland 3. However that soi was not enough for insatiable Pattaya and gay venues have begun to spread to neighboring alleys. We draw your attention to the fact that Soi Pattayaland 2 (Pattaya Soi 13/4) and Soi Pattayaland 1 (Pattaya Soi 13/3) are not only for gay visitors, there are venues for heterosexuals as well.

There are plenty of go-go bars in Boyz Town and surrounding sois. On soi 3 and soi 2 the bars have been opening and closing, constantly change the names, owners and audience orientation. Rules of behavior for visitors approximately the same: entrance is free, but you should order a drink which cost 200 baht and up.

Some go-go bars, for example Boyz Boyz Boyz and Copa, perform shows (transvestite, erotic and ect.) at certain times. Some bars, for example, X boys and Happy place bar, go further and began to surprise visitors in style "Shocking Asia". At least you would watch there a demonstration of erected penises which are incidentally not Asian sizes. Well, if you're lucky, you would get a maximum program with ... However, we won't open all secrets, differently Boyz Town won't bring you surprises.

At all venues of this type you can take a boy. Barfine (pay for bar) is 300-500 baht. Price per short time with the boy starts from 1,000 baht, per night price is also starts from 1,000 baht. With some guys is possible to agree for cheaper price.

Among other services in Boyz Town you can find Thai massage. But be careful: an official price for the massage, which is listed in price lists, catalogs and on signs, doesn’t include a tip, which is a mandatory attribute of such service. The minimum size of the tip should tell a manager or cashier. You have to give the tip to the masseur at the end of a procedure. Typically, that service include so-called "happy ending", that’s hand job. But you can make an agreement about something more with the masseur.

In the same massage salons you can find gay saunas and gyms. But we don't know any foreigner, resident of Pattaya, who would go there to exercise or steam up. Therefore we can’t recommend you to use those gyms and gay saunas.

We consider that Boyz Town is good place for hang out with cheerful friends company in the bar or restaurant. The most popular bar in the area is Panorama Pub where always ton of visitors. The drinks prices are high enough for Pattaya, for example beer starts cost 100 baht for a small bottle. You can enjoy your lunch or dinner in the restaurants, where a set dinner costs 300-500 baht. You can stay in one of the gay hotels, but for a quiet rest Boyz Town would be suitable hardly.

And one more thing: if someone wanna dance there is no dance clubs in Boyz Town, unfortunately.

Boyz Town is not the only one gay area in Pattaya. In addition to Boyz Town gay spots are concentrated at Sunee Plaza and Jomtien Complex.
